Samsung Galaxy S23 / Galaxy S23 Ultra - Block / Unblock Numbers

Here's how to block messages and send unwanted calls directly to Voicemail for your Galaxy S23 / Galaxy S23+ / Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Calls and text messages from contacts or phone numbers added to the blocked list are automatically ignored and the call is forwarded to Voicemail.

Add Block

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of a Home screen then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
     then tap
    Block numbers
    .
  4. To add a number perform one of the following:
    • Tap
      Add a phone number
      , enter the desired number then tap the
      Add icon
       Add icon.
    • Tap 'Recents' or 'Contacts', select the desired phone number or contact then tap
      Done
      .

Remove Block

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of a Home screen then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
     then tap
    Block numbers
    .
  4. To remove a number from the blocked list, tap the
    Remove icon
     Remove icon located to the right of the number.
