Google Pixel 7 / 7 Pro - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Pixel 7 / 7 Pro on or off.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap
    All apps
     (at the top) then tap
    Disabled apps
    .
  5. Tap the appropriate app then tap
    Enable
    .

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap an app.
  5. Tap
    Disable
     then tap
    Disable app
    .
    If the Disable option isn't available, tap
    Force stop
     then tap
    OK
    .
