MOTOROLA EDGE - 2022 - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's how to link or unlink duplicate contacts in your motorola edge - 2022.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.

Link Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     then tap a contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap
    Link
    .
    If a link has previously been created, tap
    View linked contacts
     then select
    ADD
    .
  5. Tap the contact to link.
  6. Swipe from the left edge of the screen to the right to return to the previous page.

Unlink Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     then tap a contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap
    View linked contacts
     then tap
    UNLINK
    .
  5. From the 'Unlink this contact?' prompt, tap
    UNLINK
     to confirm.
