MOTOROLA EDGE - 2022 - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect your motorola edge - 2022 to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the
    Wi-Fi switch
     (upper-right) is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually.
  5. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap (check)
    Show password
    .

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the
    Wi-Fi switch
     (upper-right) is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap
    Add network
     (at the bottom).
  5. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate network name.
  6. From the Security field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then select the applicable security option:
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2-Personal
    • WPA3-Personal
    • WPA/WPA2-Enterprise
    • WPA3-Enterprise
    • WAPI-PSK
    • WAPI-Cert
  7. If prompted, enter the password into the Password field.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap (check)
    Show password

  8. Tap
    Advanced options
     then ensure all additional settings (e.g., Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
