SHARP ROUVO V - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your ROUVO V.

Set Up Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Hotspot and tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi hotspot
    .
  4. Tap the
    Use Wi-Fi Hotspot
    switch to turn on Switch on.
  5. From the Setup Wi-Fi Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • Hotspot name (SSID)
    • Security
      • None
      • WPA2-Personal
      • WPA2/WPA3-Personal
      • WPA3-Personal
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Show password
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
  6. Tap
    SAVE

Manage Devices

    Wi-Fi hotspot

  4. Tap the
    Use Wi-Fi Hotspot
    switch to turn on Switch on.
  5. From the 'CONNECTED DEVICES' section, tap a device you want to disconnect, then tap
    OK
    .
    Up to 10 devices can connect to the Mobile Hotspot at one time.
