Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy Watch5 / Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your Galaxy Watch5 / Galaxy Watch5 Pro software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Swipe up from the Home Screen
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    Lock type
    .
    If prompted, enter the current PIN or pattern.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up or modify a pattern:
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw the desired pattern.
      3. Re-draw the pattern to confirm.
    • Set up or modify a PIN:
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. If preferred, tap (check)
        Unlock without tap after PIN entered
        .
      3. Enter a numeric 4-digit PIN.
      4. Tap the
        Right arrow icon
         .
      5. Re-enter the numeric PIN.
      6. Tap the
        checkmark icon
         to confirm.
    • To disable the screen lock, tap
      None
      .
