Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Flip4.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security
      This option can be set to Open or WPA2 PSK.
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred.
  5. Tap
    Advanced
     to configure the following:
    • Set mobile data limit
    • MAC address type
    • Turn off when no device connected for
    • Hidden network
    • Support Wi-Fi 6 standard
    • Protected Management Frames
    • Wi-Fi sharing
  6. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
