SHARP ROUVO V - Restart in Safe Mode

Here's how to restart your ROUVO V into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your phone in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until 'Power off' appears on the screen then release.

  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. From the 'Reboot in safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
    .
    This process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the screen.

  4. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
