Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Fold4.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. To configure, tap
    Network name
     then configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security
      • Open
      • Enhanced Open
      • WPA2-Personal
      • WPA2 / WPA3-Personal
      • WPA3-Personal
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Band
      • 2.4 GHz
      • 5 GHz
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
    Tap any option to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
  6. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
