Inseego MiFi X PRO 5G UW - Enable / DIsable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Inseego MiFi X PRO 5G UW or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card in your Inseego MiFi® X PRO 5G UW so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the 4G SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. From the Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right) to open the Settings page.
  3. Click the
    Advanced tab
     , review the warning then click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    SIM
     (below the Advanced tab).
  5. From the 'Desired Action' dropdown, select
    Turn on PIN Lock
    .
  6. In the 'Current PIN' field, enter the current SIM PIN.
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  7. Click
    Save Changes
    .

Modify SIM PIN

The SIM card must be locked (SIM PIN enabled) in order to change the current SIM PIN.
  2. From the Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right) to open the Settings page.
  3. Click the
    Advanced tab
     , review the warning then click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    SIM
     (located below the Advanced tab).
  5. From the Desired Action field, click the
    dropdown menu
    .
  6. Click
    Change PIN
    .
  7. Enter the appropriate PIN into the following fields:
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    • Current PIN
    • New PIN
    • Confirm new PIN
  8. Click
    Save Changes
    .
