TCL TAB Disney Edition - Restart in Safe Mode

Here's how to restart your TCL TAB Disney Edition into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your device in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power
     until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     or
    Restart
     until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. Tap
    TURN ON SAFE MODE
     to confirm.
    The process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.

  4. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
