TCL TAB Disney Edition - Reset App

Here's how to reset apps if your TCL TAB Disney Edition crashes, resets or freezes.
Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Reset Individual App

This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps &notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    SEE ALL 'xx' APPS
    .
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu (upper-right) then tap the
    Show system
    .
  5. Tap
    FORCE STOP
    .
  6. Tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  7. Tap
    Storage & cache
    .
  8. Tap
    CLEAR STORAGE
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.
    Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
  9. Review the disclaimer then tap
    OK
     to confirm.

Reset All App Preferences

This option resets app preferences for the following and app data isn't affected:
  • Disabled apps
  • Notification restrictions for apps
  • Default apps
  • Background data restrictions for apps
  • Permission restrictions

  3. Tap
    SEE ALL 'xx' APPS

  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu (upper-right).
  5. Tap
