Here's how to view / add / remove panels and set a default Home screen panel for your moto g stylus 5G.

Add Panel

The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
    Follow the steps below to add or remove panels.
  2. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  3. Touch and hold an app then drag up and to the right.
    A new panel is automatically created when an app is placed on it.

Remove Panel

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
    Follow the steps below to add or remove panels.
  2. From the appropriate panel, touch and hold an item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  3. Drag the item to 'Remove' remove icon (at the top) then release.
    Repeat these steps for all items on the panel.
    The panel is removed once all items on it are removed.
