Here's how to view and adjust sync settings on your moto g stylus 5G if you're not receiving email and app notifications.

Add a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network is not listed, it can be added manually.
  5. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
     (enabled when a checkmark is present).

Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap
    Add network
     (at the bottom).
  5. From the 'Network name (SSID)' field, enter the appropriate network name.
  6. From the Security field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     then select the applicable security option:
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2-Personal
    • WPA3-Personal
    • WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise
    • WPA3-Enterprise 192-bit
  7. If prompted, enter the password into the Password field.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
     (enabled when a checkmark is present).
  8. Tap
    Advanced options
     then ensure all additional settings (e.g., Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
