Apple iPhone - Install or Remove Configuration Profiles

Here's how to install or remove configuration profiles on your iPhone.
If you've recently returned from an international trip where you used another carrier and are experiencing service issues, you may have to delete that carrier's profile from your Apple® iPhone®.

Install a Configuration Profile

If a profile isn't installed within 8 minutes of being downloaded, it'll be deleted automatically.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple iPhone, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon.
    If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library.
  2. Tap
    Profile Downloaded
    .
    If unavailable, tap
    Enroll in [organization name]
    .
  3. Tap
    Install
     (upper-right), then follow the onscreen instructions.

Remove a Configuration Profile

If you remove a profile, all of the settings, apps, and data associated with the profile are deleted.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple iPhone, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    General
    .
    If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library.
  2. Tap
    VPN & Device Management
    .
    If unavailable, tap
    Profiles
    .
  3. Tap the desired profile.
  4. Tap
    Remove Profile
    .
    If prompted, enter your passcode and then tap
    Remove
    .
