Samsung Galaxy A13 - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings if your Galaxy A13 isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email.
  • The 'Do not disturb' setting allows sound / vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Do not disturb
    .
  4. Tap the
    Do not disturb switch
     to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
  5. From the 'Schedule' section, tap the appropriate schedule to turn on or off then perform the following steps:
    To add a new schedule, tap
    Add schedule
     then perform the following steps.
    1. Tap the default schedule (e.g., Sleeping) or enter a new schedule name.
      To edit the schedule name:
      1. Tap the current schedule name.
      2. Enter the preferred name (e.g., Work, Gym, etc.).
      3. Tap
        Save
        .
    2. Select the preferred day(s).
      Selected when circle is present.
    3. Tap
      Set time
      .
    4. Tap
      Start time
       and adjust the start time.
    5. Tap
      End time
       and adjust the end time.
    6. Tap
      Save
      .
    7. Tap the
      Back icon
       Back icon (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
  6. From the 'Allow during Do not disturb' section, tap one of the following then select an option:
    • Calls, messages, and conversations
      Tap one of the following then select an option, selected with checkmark:
      • Calls
        • All
        • Contacts only
        • Favorite contacts only
        • None
      • Messages
        • All
        • Contacts only
        • Favorite contacts only
        • None
      • Conversations
        • All
        • Priority conversations
        • None
    • Alarms and sounds
      Tap any option to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
    • Apps
      Follow the below steps:
      1. Tap Add apps.
      2. Tap an app.
      3. Tap any of the settings to turn on or off.
  7. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to the previous screen.
  8. Tap
    Hide notifications
     then tap the preferred notification setting to turn on or off.

Turn Do Not Disturb On / Off

To turn 'Do not disturb' on or off outside a defined schedule follow the steps below:
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the Notification Panel.

  2. Swipe down from the Notification Panel to expand the Quick Settings panel.
  3. Tap
    Do not disturb
    to turn on or off.
    The 'Do not disturb' icon is blue when turned on and gray when turned off.
