Here's how to add your Google (Gmail) account on your Galaxy A53 5G UW.
Follow the steps below to add your current Google™(Gmail™) account to your Galaxy A53 5G UW.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    Manage Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add account
    .
  4. Tap
    Google
    .
    If presented, use the current security unlock method (PIN, password, fingerprint, etc.).
  5. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
     (lower-right).
  6. Enter the Password then tap
    Next
    .
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
     (lower-right).
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     (at the bottom) when finished.
  8. If preferred, tap the
    Back up to Google Drive switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off then tap
    Accept
