Here's how to turn GPS location for your Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G on or off.

Satellite or standalone GPS services require more power and have a greater effect on battery life.

From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Location

Tap the

Location switch

(upper-right) to turn on Switch on

or off

If presented, review the info then tap 'Close' or 'Turn on location' to continue.

If preferred, tap

Location services

then tap any of the following to configure:

Tap the appropriate switch to turn on Switch on

or off

Earthquake alerts

Emergency Location Service

Google Location Accuracy

Google Location History

Google Location Sharing

Tap either of the following switches to turn on or off:
