Windows 11 - Turn Screen Rotation On / Off

Here's how to check the display on your Windows 11 device if it doesn't flip or rotate.
  1. From the Windows desktop, navigate:
    Start Start menu icon
    Settings
    Display
     (left-panel).
  2. From the 'Scale & layout' section, tap or click
    Rotation lock
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch on icon.
    If using a 2:1 device (i.e., laptop/tablet) rotation lock is only available in tablet mode.
    Screen rotation displays content on your Windows® 11 device in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. Simply turn the device to change the view.
