Windows 11 - Sign In Without a Microsoft Account

Here's how to sign in to your Windows 11 device without a Microsoft account.
If your device isn't running Windows® 11, refer to the Windows 10 instructions for signing in without a Microsoft® account.
  1. From the Windows desktop, navigate:
    Start Start menu icon
    Settings
    Accounts
     (left-panel).
  2. Tap or click
    Your info
    .
  3. From the 'Account settings' section, tap or click
    Sign in with a local account instead
    .
  4. If prompted 'Are you sure?', tap or click
    Next
    .
  5. If presented, enter password of current user.
  6. Enter the desired info into the following fields then select
    Next
     (lower-right):
    The password fields are optional. If left blank, a password is not needed to access the device.
    • User name
    • Password
    • Re-enter password
    • Password hint
  7. Tap or click
    Next
    .
  8. Tap or click
    Sign out and finish
     to complete.
