Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW - Restart in Safe Mode

Here's how to restart your DuraSport 5G UW into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your phone in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slow.
An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     (right edge) until the 'Power off' option appears on the screen then release.

  3. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until 'Reboot to safe mode' screen appears.
  4. From the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
    .
    The process may take up to 60 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.

  5. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
