Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your DuraSport 5G UW on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android™ device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'XX' apps
    .
  4. Tap
    ALL APPS
    (at the top) then tap
    Disabled apps
    .
  5. Tap the appropriate app then tap
    ENABLE
    .

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    S
    ee all 'XX' apps
    .
  4. Tap an app.
  5. Tap
    DISABLE
     then tap
    DISABLE
    APP
    .
    If the 'Disable' option isn't available, tap
    FORCE STOP
    .
