Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your DuraSport 5G UW or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
  2. Tap
    SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure the SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
    to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
