MOTO G PURE - Set Up Face Recognition

Here's how to set up a facial recognition scan to access your moto g pure.
  • Facial recognition through Trusted Face:
    • is an option for keeping the device screen from locking when looking at it.
    • can be used to unlock the device when it is locked and powered on.
    • is less secure than a PIN, pattern or password.
  • A screen lock must be active (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) to use Trusted Face. If necessary, refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  • If synced to a corporate exchange account, the availability of this option is dependent upon the policies of your IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Face unlock
    .
  4. Enter the current unlock method (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).
  5. If presented with a backup screen lock method, tap the desired option (e.g., Fingerprint + Pattern, Fingerprint + PIN, etc).
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  6. Tap
    Set up

  7. Review the info about face unlock then tap
    Set up

  8. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete.
  9. To continue, tap
    Next
