TCL TAB Pro 5G - Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Dark mode, Screen saver, Sleep, Font size, etc.) for your TAB Pro 5G.
Follow these steps to adjust brightness settings and display / font settings for your TAB Pro 5G.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. To adjust brightness, move the
    slider
     (at the top) left or right.
    To automatically adjust brightness based on ambient light, tap
    Adaptive brightness
     to turn on
    Switch on or off Switch off.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap the switch for any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
    If necessary, tap each option to configure additional settings.
  4. Tap
    Dark mode
    .
  5. Tap
    Turn on now
     to turn Dark mode on or off.
  6. If desired, tap
    Schedule time
     to turn on or off, then adjust the time using the From and To fields.
  7. Tap the
    Back icon Back icon
    (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
  8. To set the amount of time before the display turns off, tap
    Sleep
     then select the preferred option (e.g., 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
  9. Tap
    Font size
    then drag the
    slider
     left or right to make the text on the screen smaller or larger.
  10. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to the previous screen.
  11. To control what happens when the device is docked or charging:
    1. Tap
      More display settings
       then tap
      Screen saver
      .
    2. Tap
      Current screen saver
       then select the preferred option.
    3. Tap
      When to start
       then select the preferred option (While charging, Never).
