Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Network name
    • Security
      • Open
      • WPA2-Personal
      • WPA2 / WPA3-Personal
      • WPA3-Personal
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Band
      • 2.4 GHz
      • 5 GHz preferred
  5. To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap
    Advanced
     then tap the
    Hidden network switch
     to turn on Switch on icon.
  6. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
