Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings
Here's how to check 'Do not disturb' settings if your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite isn't receiving alerts for texts and email.
The 'Do not disturb' feature silences sounds and vibration for phone calls, messages; however, exceptions may be allowed.
- From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
- Navigate:.SettingsNotificationsDo not disturb
- Tap theDo not disturb switchto turn on
or off

- TapFor how long?, choose an option then tapOK:
- Until I turn it off
- 1 hourIncrease or decrease the time frame using the

icons (to the right).
- Ask every time
- TapOK.
- Tap aSchedule switch(Sleeping, etc.) to turn on or off.To add a new schedule tapAdd schedulethen follow the steps:
- In the 'Name' field enter the name of the schedule.
- Tap the preferred day(s).Selected when letter circled.
- TapSet time.
- Adjust the Start and End time, then tapDone.
- TapSave.
- Tap theBack icon
(upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
- From the 'Exceptions' section, tap an option, then tap the following to turn on or off:
- Calls and messages
- CallsThen select an option (e.g., All, Contacts only, etc.)
- Repeat callersTap to turn on or off
- MessagesThen select an option (e.g., All, Contacts only, etc.)
- App notifications
- Alarms and sounds
- Tap theBack iconto return to the previous screen.
- TapHide notificationsthen tap a notification setting (e.g., Hide all, Hide full screen notification, Hide app icon badges, etc.) to turn on or off.
