Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    .
  3. From the Security section, tap
    Other security settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Set up SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  5. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM card PIN
      .
    2. Enter the old SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
      PIN must be 4 to 8 numbers.
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
