MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW ACE - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's how to link or unlink duplicate contacts in your Motorola one 5G UW ace.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.

Link Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     then tap a contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap
    Link
    .
  5. Tap the contact to link.
  6. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     back arrow (bottom-left) to go back to Contacts.

Unlink Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     then tap a previously linked contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    View linked contacts
    .
  4. Tap
    UNLINK
    .
  5. From the 'Unlink this contact?' prompt, tap
    UNLINK
     to confirm.
