Here's how to remove a Gmail (Google) account from your moto g play (2021).
Removing then re-adding your Gmail™ (Google™) account often fixes login and not receiving email issues.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate Gmail (Google) account.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. Tap
    Remove account
    to confirm.
