MOTO G PLAY (2021) - Install Device Software Updates

Here's how to check for and install software updates on your moto g play (2021).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    System updates
    .
    A system update won't be received while roaming.
  3. From the System update screen, tap
    Check for new system update
    .
  4. If an update is available, tap
    Download
    .
    If prompted with 'Everything looks good!', tap
    Got it
     as no update is necessary.
