Here's how to clear cached data if your moto g play (2021) runs slowly, crashes or resets, or apps freeze.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    Storage & cache
    .
  6. Tap
    Clear cache
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
  3. If an SD / memory card is inserted, tap
    Internal shared storage
    .
  4. Tap
    Free up space
    .
  5. Tap
    Clean
    (lower-left) then tap
    OK
    ('Clean up' section).
