Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Samsung Galaxy A12.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen

  3. Tap
    Secure lock settings
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
    If unavailable, a screen lock must be enabled.
  4. Configure any of the following:

      • 1 minute
      • 2 minutes

      • 10 minutes
      • 30 minutes
    • Lock instantly with Side key
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Auto factory reset
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Lock network and security
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Show Lockdown option.
      Tap to turn on or off.
