Samsung Galaxy A12 - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Galaxy A12 on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on Turn on icon.
  4. Tap
    Turn on
     (bottom-left).

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on Turn on icon.
  4. Tap
    Disable
     (at the bottom).
    If the Disable option isn't available, navigate:
    Force stop (bottom-right)
    OK
    .
  5. Tap
    Disable app
     to confirm.
