Samsung Galaxy A42 5G - Record and Play Sound File

Here's how to record and play a sound file on your Galaxy A42 5G.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap the
    Samsung Notes icon
     .
  3. Tap the
    Compose icon
     Plus sign icon (lower-right).
  4. Tap
    Attach
     Attach icon (upper-right).
  5. Tap
    Voice recordings
     to start recording.
  6. Tap the
    Stop icon
     Stop icon to discontinue recording.
  7. To listen to the recording, tap the
    left arrow icon
     to the left of the
    Pause icon
     Pause icon then tap the
    Play icon
     Play icon.
    If necessary, press the
    Volume buttons
     (on the right edge) to increase or decrease volume during playback.
    To delete the recording, tap
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Delete
