Samsung Galaxy A42 5G - Add an Existing Google Account

Here's how to add an your Google (Gmail) account on your Galaxy A42 5G.
Follow the steps below to add your current Google™ ( Gmail™ ) account to your Galaxy A42 5G.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    Manage Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add account
    .
  4. Tap
    Google
    .
    If presented, use the current security unlock method (PIN, password, fingerprint, etc.).
  5. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
     (lower-right).
  6. Enter the Password then tap
    Next
    .
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
     (lower-right).
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     (at the bottom) when finished.
  8. If preferred, tap the
    Back up to Google Drive switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon then tap
    Accept.
