Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G - View / Restrict Data Usage by App

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app on your Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G uses.
Some apps depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. From the Mobile section, tap
    Mobile data usage
    .
    To see Wi-Fi data usage, tap
    Wi-Fi data usage
     in the Wi-Fi section.
  4. Select an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the
    Allow background data usage switch
    to turn off Switch off.
