Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect your DuraForce Ultra 5G UW to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  5. From the Wi-Fi networks section, tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually.
  6. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
    CONNECT
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
     (enabled when a checkmark is present).

Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to your internet service provider or the network admin for assistance.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on On switch.
  4. Tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  5. Tap
    Add network
     (at the bottom).
  6. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
  7. Tap the 'Security field'
    dropdown menu
     Dropdown menu icon (on the right) then select one of the following security options:
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2-Personal
    • WPA3-Personal
    • WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise
    • WPA3-Enterprise 192-bit
  8. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
    .
  9. If necessary, tap
    Advanced options
     to enable any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc).
