Samsung Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Set Lock Screen Notifications

Here's how to manage how notifications appear on your Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21+ 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G when the screen is locked.
Lock screen notifications for apps (e.g., text messages, Snapchat®, etc.) can be customized to be shown or hidden when your screen is locked.
If a Microsoft Exchange® account is set up on the device, notifications are off by default.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Lock screen notifications
    .
  4. Tap the
    Notifications switch
     (upper-right) to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    The following Notification settings are only available if a screen lock is enabled.
    When on, configure any of the following:
    • Content
      Tap one of the following
      • Show content
      • Hide content
    • Tap the
      Show content when unlocked switch
       to turn on.
    • Notifications to show
      • Alert and silent notifications
      • Alert notifications only
    • Tap the
      Show on Always On Display switch
       to turn on or off.
