Samsung Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Record and Play Sound File

Here's how to record and play a sound file on your Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21+ 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap the
    Samsung Notes icon
     .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     Plus sign icon (lower-right).
  4. Tap
    Attach
     Attach icon (upper-right).
  5. Tap
    Voice recordings
     to start recording.
  6. Tap the
    Stop icon
     Stop icon to discontinue recording.
  7. Do any of the following:
    • To preview the recording:
      1. Tap the
        Expand icon
         Expand icon (left of the play time).
      2. Tap the
        Play icon
         Play icon.
        If necessary, press the
        Volume buttons
         (on the right edge) to adjust the volume up or down during playback.
    • To delete the recording:
      1. Tap the
        Details icon
         Details icon (upper-right).
      2. Tap
        Edit
        .
      3. Select (check) the voice recording.
      4. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon then tap
        Delete
         (lower-right) to confirm.
