Samsung Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Install Device Software Updates

Here's how to check for and install software updates on your Galaxy S21 5G / Galaxy S21+ 5G / Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Software updates
    .
    A system update won't be received while roaming.
  3. Tap
    Check for software updates
    .
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • If advised the software is up-to-date, tap
      OK
      .
    • If a software update is available:
      1. Tap
        Proceed
         to begin the download.
      2. Once the download has been completed, tap
        Install Now
