Orbic Maui - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe Mode puts your Orbic® Maui™ in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slow.
An alternate method is available if your device can be powered on and is responsive.
  1. Ensure your device is powered off.
    1. To power off, press and hold the
      Power button
       (upper-right edge with the charging port facing down) until the handset options prompt appears then release.

    2. From the handset options prompt, tap
      Power off
      .
      Allow several seconds for the device to power off.
  2. Press the
    Power button
     to turn the device on and allow several seconds for the Orbic logo to appear.
  3. With the Orbic logo on screen, press and hold the
    Volume down and Volume up button
     simultaneously.

  4. Continue to hold the
    Volume down and Volume up buttons
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock screen then release.
    This may take up to 30 seconds.

  5. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
