Pixel 4a 5G UW - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Pixel 4a 5G UW.
A secure lock type (PIN, pattern, etc.) must be set up for lock settings to be available.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Device unlock
    .
  3. Tap the
    Gear icon
     Settings gear icon  then tap any of the following:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    If presented, enter pattern, PIN, or password to continue.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Enhanced PIN privacy
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Lock after screen timeout
      Select a period. (e.g., 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.)
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to turn on or off.
