Pixel 5 - Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Screen timeout, Font size, etc.) for your Pixel 5.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Brightness level
     then adjust the slider as desired.
  4. Tap
    Adaptive brightness
    .
  5. Tap the
    Use adaptive brightness switch
     to turn on or off.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:

    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Screen timeout
    then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Screen attention
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  5. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     , tap
    Display size and text
     then move the slider to adjust size as desired.
