TCL SIGNA - Set Up Face Recognition

Here's how to set up a facial recognition scan to access your SIGNA.
  • A screen lock must be active (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) to use Face unlock. If necessary, refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  • If synced to a corporate exchange account, the availability of this option is dependent upon the policies of your IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Face unlock
    .
  4. From the 'Set up face unlock' prompt tap
    Continue
    .
  5. Enter the current unlock method (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).
  6. From the 'Get ready to unlock..' prompt tap
    Start
    .
  7. Align your face within the circle and follow on-screen prompts until the process is complete, then tap
    Continue
    .
