Here's how to manage motion-activated services for your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.
The 'Motions and gestures' settings allow for various motion-activated services.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Advanced features
    Motions and gestures
    .
  3. Select any of the following then tap the
    switch
     to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon :
    • Lift to wake
       : Turns the screen on when you pick up your phone.
    • Double tap to turn on screen
       : Turns the screen on when you tap the screen twice.
    • Double tap to turn off screen
       : Turns the screen off when you tap an empty part of the home screen twice.
    • Palm touch to turn off screen
       : Cover the screen with your palm to turn off.
    • Keep screen on while viewing
       : Keep the screen on while you're looking at it.
    • Alert when phone picked up
       : Your phone vibrates when you pick it up after missing a message.
    • Mute with gestures
       : Mute incoming calls by placing your hand over the screen or turning your phone face down.
    • Finger sensor gestures
       : Open and close apps and features with the fingerprint sensor.
