Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Configure
    .
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Hidden network
    • Security
      This option can be set to Open or WPA2 PSK.
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
