Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the
    Filter and sort icon
     Filter an sort then tap
    Disabled
    .
  4. Tap
    OK
    .
  5. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap
    Show system apps
     to turn on on switch icon.
  6. Tap
    Enable
     (lower-left).

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the
    Filter and sort icon
     Filter an sort then tap
    All
    .
    If system apps aren't visible, tap
    Show system apps
    to turn on on switch icon.
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    Disable
    .
    If the Disable option isn't available, navigate:
    Force Stop
     (upper-right) >
    Force Stop
     (lower-right).
  6. To confirm, tap
    Disable app
    .
  7. If prompted to 'replace this app with the factory version', tap
    OK
     to confirm.
