LG Stylo 6 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Stylo 6 or turn it on / off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your LG Stylo™ 6 so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to Locating the 4G SIM PIN/PUK - My Verizon Website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Lock screen & security
     .
  2. Tap
    Set up SIM card lock
     .
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
    to turn on Switch on or off Switch off .
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
       .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
       .
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
