LG Stylo 6 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Stylo 6.
If you need to add a virtual private network (VPN) to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secured remote server when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.) from your LG Stylo™ 6, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
     .
  2. Tap
    VPN
     .
  3. Tap
    Basic VPN
     then tap the
    Add icon Add icon
    (upper-right).
  4. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  5. From the Type field, tap the
    Dropdown menu Dropdown menu icon
    then select a VPN type:
    • PPTP
    • L2TP/IPSec PSK
    • L2TP/IPSec RSA
    • IPSec Xauth PSK
    • IPSec Xauth RSA
    • IPSec Hybrid RSA
  6. Enter the appropriate info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
     (lower-right).
    The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
